Empowering Children Through The Love Of Horses

Discover the Magic

Our
Story

What is Wilder Grace Discovery Farm?

Wilder Grace is a sanctuary for horses and humans to come together. A relationship with a horse can significantly help special needs children by providing a calming, non-judgmental presence. It can also help improve motor skills like balance and coordination, foster emotional well being, and and enhance social interaction. Our mission is to be able to help children who are special needs, underprivileged, and/or may have never experienced farm life, to grow their knowledge by working with equine professionals in a safe, fun environment. Wilder Grace Discovery Farm offers quarterly Discovery Camps for kids to come and learn all about horses and ponies! They have the opportunity to groom, bathe and spend quality time with our hooved friends, whilst making memories that will last a lifetime.

Preserving the Cleveland Bay in North America

Not only does our organization help the children of our community; we are helping to grow the Cleveland Bay Horse numbers in North America. The Cleveland Bay is on the endangered species list, and we are so excited to be able to take part in helping this incredible breed continue to thrive! Check out the "Cleveland Bay" tab to learn more!

Wildlife Preservation Efforts and Concentrated Solar Power

Going Green!

Wildlife Preservation

We take natural environment and wildlife protection seriously on our farm. We have decided to make a portion of Wilder Grace Discovery Farm a natural "classroom"t for the public! Check out the "Wildlife Preservation" tab to learn more about the endangered species we are helping protect!

Wilder Grace is proud to be a Green Organization! Our farm is ran off of solar power, and we advocate for clean, recycled natural energy. We have solar panels not only on the roofing of our structures, but also have mini panels all around our property. Solar Power is often considered the best energy source because it is renewable and does not produce harmful emissions. It has low maintenance costs, and can significantly reduce electricity bills by generating power directly from sunlight!

What We Offer

Meet our owner and founder, Chloe' Litton

Some of my very first memories involve horses. I grew up on the back of them and they taught me more about life than any human ever could. They taught me how to care for those who don’t have a voice. They taught me love and compassion. They taught me that hard work equals success, and that patience is one of the most important things in life. My life’s mission is to be able to create a sanctuary for underprivileged and inner city children of the greater Nashville area to be able to spend time on a farm and meet horses. I truly believe that offering a learning environment for these kids to learn about horses, farm and homestead life, and green environmental practices will not only enrich their their childhoods- but it will give our community the opportunity to one day be lead by young adults who know the importance of green thinking, and how horses can impact others in a positive way.

At Wilder Grace, we offer quarterly Discovery Camps to students k-12, handy capable children, and underprivileged children within the greater Nashville area. These camps will include learning about horses, how to care for them, riding opportunities, how to care for the horses’ stables, and much more. Offering these camps will give children the opportunity to care for living animals which will give them a sense of responsibility, confidence and pride, something that they may not get at home. My hope is to be able to instill a passion in these children, give them something to be excited about, and give them an unforgettable experience that they will be able to keep with them for the rest of their lives.
